NOTICE: We have had many requests for recurring credit card payments, and we now have a new processor for these payments. To pay by credit or debit, select the "pay by credit/debit" button below. On the next screen click on the blue "sign up" button, and put in your account number (including the dash) and name as it appears on your bill. Once you have done this you will be able to set up a user name and password for future login. You may also sign up for autopay! If you have been paying by ACH, or ECheck, select the "pay from bank account" button. Your log-in information is unchanged. Unfortunately, autopay is not available with this service. We do still offer bank draft through our office, with no fees for this service. Thank you for being our valued customers!
Please be aware of online 3rd party bill payment websites (such as doxo.com) that show up in searches or other advertising. These companies may offer "convenience" by allowing you to pay your water bill through their website. To pay your bill online safely and securely using our authorized payment processor, use the link provided on our bill payment page.
IMPORTANT! We will NEVER request or accept payment at the service address. Our meter techs will never accept payment from customers when out in the field.
SIGN UP FOR PAPERLESS BILLING! Interested in receiving your water bill in your email inbox? Sign up for paperless billing to stop receiving the postcard bill and we will email the bill to you. Go to the CUSTOMER SERVICE tab and send us your email address, along with your service address and/or account number. You can have the bill sent to multiple email addresses.
Online Payment Using a Credit/Debit Card: Our new payment processor is now live. When you select the "Pay Your Bill Now" button on this page, it will take you to the log in screen. Simply input your account number and your name as it shows up on your bill, and you are registered. An email will be sent to you to activate your account, but then you are good to go! There will be a convenience fee charged for payments by credit or debit card.
Payment By Mail: If paying by check or money order through the mail, please be sure to include your account number. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill. All payments and other correspondence should be mailed to: PO Box 4009, Emerald Isle, NC 28594-4009.
Automatic Bank Draft: The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank checking account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. You will still receive your bill, which will be marked "To Be Drafted."
To sign up for draft service, visit the Forms & Reports page to download the authorization form. If you need additional help, please give us a call. We will be happy to assist you. Bank draft payments are processed on the 15th of each month (or the next business day). Depending upon when the form is received, we may or may not be able to draft current balances.
Payment Drop-off Location: Our office is located at 7412 Emerald Dr., Emerald Isle, NC 28594, just behind the EI Police Dept. and under the BBWC water tower. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. When making a payment in person, payments can be made using cash, check, or money order. A night deposit drop box is available for after hours payments.
Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay: Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.
